NFL reporter confirms passing of 2-year-old daughter after cancer diagnosis

NFL reporter Doug Kyed said that his two-year-old daughter passed away nine months after receiving a fatal leukemia diagnosis.

The terrible blow is said to have struck Little Hallie Kyed in April 2023. Her father Doug, who works for the Boston Herald, revealed on Instagram in January 2021 that his daughter had lost her fight.

Following Hallie’s bone marrow transplant, Kyed revealed that the situation had gotten worse.

“On Sunday morning, Hallie passed away peacefully in her sleep while Jen and I were holding her hands in bed,” Doug writes.”We’re depressed and completely adrift without Hallie. Our lives will never be the same again.

After Hallie’s recurrence, Doug wrote in a letter that despite his daughter’s obvious struggles, the family was trying to be positive.
