Born in Monroe, Michigan, USA, on February 2, 1954, Christie Lee Hudson later changed her name to Christie Brinkley. After growing up in Los Angeles, California, she attended Palisades High School and later studied art in Paris, France.

A Profession in Modeling

Christie’s modeling career took off after American photographer Errol Sawyer noticed her in a post office in Paris.

She became well-known in the late 1970s and early 1980s, most known for being the face of CoverGirl for an incredible 25 years. She made three straight covers of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue from 1979 to 1981, cemented her status as one of the finest models in the business.

In addition to being a model, Christie Brinkley has appeared in several films and television shows.
