Janis Timma reportedly died on the birthday of his ex-wife, who shared an emotional post on her Instagram Story earlier today, December 17.
Latvian NBA star Janis Timma was recently found dead after he reportedly fell from an apartment building in Moscow. Timma was 32 years old at the time of his demise.According to reports, Timma’s body was found in the residential building’s stairwell. Preliminary investigations have suggested suicide as the cause of death, though local authorities have yet to confirm further details.
Adding a haunting layer to the tragedy, a phone that displayed a message from Timma’s ex-wife, Ukrainian singer and actress Anna Sedokova, was reportedly found next to his body.
The incident occurred on Monday, December 16 — coinciding with Sedokova’s birthday, which she publicly celebrated on Instagram.

Elevating the glamorous vibe were her cascading waves of chestnut hair and her subtle smokey eye makeup look. Sedokova read from a whimsical, oversized newspaper titled “New Year, New Me: Anna Sedokova Kicks Off Her Best Year Yet,” as if narrating her own story of transformation. Another moment in the video showed Sedokova holding a fiery red birthday cake, complete with black ribbon accents. She leaned closer to the cake to blow out the single glowing candle.
Throughout his career, Timma was celebrated for his contributions to the Latvian National Team, where he competed at the 2015 and 2017 European Championships. He also showcased his talents on the youth stage, earning a bronze medal at the 2010 European U18 Championship.
His achievements extended to personal accolades, including being named EuroCup MVP twice during the 2016-17 season
