Today Show Host Has To Issue A Public Apology After Going Off Script On Live TV

Live television reporters have to deal with a lot of pressure. But when they make a mistake, we all get to enjoy the blunder because every moment their face is on screen is recorded forever.

Savannah Guthrie, one of the hosts of NBC’s long-running Today Show, recently made a very uncharacteristic mistake. She accidentally said a curse word on live TV. Viewers instantly reacted to the hilarious situation and commented about it online. The person in charge of the broadcast quickly turned off her mic and cut to a commercial to cover the gaffe.

Despite the slip-up, many viewers found Guthrie more relatable and praised her for owning up to her mistake. Others even claimed that she said another swear word that was fortunately blocked out by the station.
