Armed Carjacker Dies While Fleeing Police, Mom Demands Answers: ‘He Was Not A Criminal’

A carjacking suspect was struck and killed by a police car when he and two other people were escaping the vehicle, according to the police. Dion Lamar Taylor, a 20-year-old resident of a block away from the crash scene, was confirmed as the deceased suspect.

Teisha Cook discussed the event with 11 News, recalling the moment she learned her son had been slain a block from her house by a Baltimore County police car. “The entire time, I’m trying to find my son, not realizing that he was under the car. I’m running around trying to find them, and I’m calling and texting him, but I’m not getting a response,” she added. While my son was playing in the street, some police officers approached from this direction, colliding with them before running him over.
