Despite their dedication, the staff realized they couldnโt continue without proper recognition or rewards. They made the difficult choice to leave, prioritizing their well-being and mental health over their loyalty to customers.
The store reopened after three hours with a new staff. A Dollar General spokesperson emphasized the companyโs commitment to a positive work environment, ensuring employees feel valued and heard.
