Their journey began in 1963 when Ina visited her brother at Dartmouth College, where she first encountered Jeffrey. Immediately captivated by his charm, Jeffrey wasted no time in introducing himself with a letter and a photo, sparking Ina’s excitement and admiration.

From Courtship to Marriage

After five years of dating, Ina and Jeffrey exchanged vows in 1968. Their early years as newlyweds were challenged when Jeffrey was deployed to Thailand with the army. Despite the distance, Jeffrey’s daily love letters became their lifeline, keeping their bond strong during separation.
