Jamie Lee Curtis overwhelmed with grief makes the heart-wrenching announcement

Jamie Lee Curtis recently shared heartfelt reflections on the passing of her close friend and fellow actor, Richard Lewis, who died of a heart attack at the age of 76. Curtis, now 65, expressed her grief and gratitude towards Lewis on her Instagram, calling him a pivotal figure in her life.

Curtis recounted how she first noticed Lewis from a billboard on Sunset Boulevard and insisted that the casting team bring him in for a role in the show. His humor and charm were immediately evident, especially during a memorable audition where his mispronunciation of “Bundt cake” made everyone laugh. His performance was so compelling that it led to a reworking of the pilot to feature their on-screen chemistry.
