The Emmy Award winning ‘bionic woman’ from the 70s is 75 years old now. Check how she looks today

Lindsay Jean Wagner was born in Los Angeles, California, on June 22, 1949. She grew up in a creative and artistic environment, which pushed her to pursue her interests in the performing arts from a young age.

Her mother and she relocated to Portland, Oregon, after her parents split when she was seven years old. Wagner took part in David Douglas High School’s cheerleading and acting programs.

Career Launch

Lindsay Wagner began her career as a model before transitioning into acting. She debuted on television in the early 1970s with cameos on popular shows like “Adam-12,” “The FBI,” and “Marcus Welby, M.D.”

Her talent and charisma instantly drew the attention of casting directors, leading to further possibilities.

 

Position of Breakthrough

Wagner’s breakthrough role occurred in 1975 when she was cast as Jaime Sommers in the television series “The Six Million Dollar Man.”
