A mother gains online attention for the shirt she compelled her son to wear to school.

“He was referring to other boys as foolish (and) idiots,” the Texas mother, Star, who preferred to be called by her first name alone, according to KTRK-TV. I’m a really traditional parent. I don’t pamper my kids. I tell them the truth without holding back.

Star uploaded a photo of the youngster sporting the T-shirt to her Facebook page because she wanted as many people to be aware that her son was a bully. In her post, Star expressed her intention to personally apologize to all the parents of the children her son may have tormented.

Star defended herself against critics in the online community and stood by her actions, despite the opinion of some that she punished her bully son too harshly. He said, “I learned that I didn’t like the way that felt, and I don’t want anybody else to feel that way because of me,” when Star asked him what he had learned from the experience. That’s precisely what I want him to learn from it. Experts in the field of child development oppose Star’s punishment.

A child psychiatrist at Baylor College of Medicine criticized Star for how she treated her son, despite the fact that he was a bully who was harming other kids. The child psychiatrist stated, “Not a good idea to embarrass your child and solidify a negative identity in an elementary school child.” “I believe the school is one resource that she can use to find assistance.” Despite facing backlash on social media and other online platforms, Star maintained that her son’s school district supported her choice. “Parents have the right to make important decisions and take certain actions on behalf of their child,” stated Splendora ISD. How do you feel about this mother disciplining her son who bullies others?
