Algerian Boxer at Center of Controversy Makes 4-Word Declaration on Gender After Latest Olympic Win

Imane Khelif is, at best, assured a bronze medal.

Imane Khelif, an Algerian boxer who had failed gender tests, quickly silenced her naysayers by taking first place in the women’s 66kg event.

Khelif is participating in the women’s class almost a year after the IBA said that a gender test had revealed the boxer had XY chromosomes. However, the boxer thinks there’s only one reason Khelif continues to compete in the women’s class:
