Baby Girl Dies After Being Left in Hot Car Just Two Months After She Was Adopted By a San Diego Couple

In a tragic turn of events, a newborn baby girl, Diana Sofia Aleman Roman, lost her life after being left in the back of a hot car in Santee, San Diego. This devastating incident occurred just two months after her adoptive parents, Romer and Jayson De Los Santos, had brought her home.

The heartbreaking discovery was made around 12:20 AM on June 13, when a family member found the infant unresponsive in the SUV parked outside the family’s home. Despite the relatively cool 63°F weather, Diana had been left in the vehicle for several hours. The family member immediately called 911, and Diana was rushed to Sharp Grossmont Hospital, but tragically, she could not be saved.
