The grieving father opened up about how Hallie would yell “DADDDDYYY” at him, demanding that he “take her on a stroll all over the medical center floor” and how she would give him “sweet very little pats on the again when I took her out of her crib.”
“Hal, my koala toddler, my small Hallie Bear, my Sour Patch Kid […] was so gorgeous, the natural way funny (and knew it) and was going to be a star in dance class. Medical practitioners, nurses and clinic staff beloved observing which princess gown she’d be wearing that day (or specific hour).”
Doug suggests, “The world is a worse spot devoid of Hallie in it.” He hopes that persons who are sad about his daughter’s dying will study just one issue from her: “it’s to know particularly what you want and to be persistent in inquiring for it, irrespective of whether it is likely on a wander, ride in the vehicle or donning a person certain Disney gown (normally Cruella).”
“I’ll miss out on rubbing her hair and kissing her head and telling her I really like her the most. Hallie eternally.”
On January 26, Hallie will be buried. For the duration of this quite tricky time, our feelings and prayers are with the Kyed relatives.
