Candace Cameron Bure Embraces the Playful Side of Marriage Amid Media Scrutiny

In 1992, Charles and Diana announced their separation, and in 1996, they divorced. The public learned of Charles and Camilla’s affair, and a scandal erupted when a private phone call between them was made public in 1989. Charles confronted the Queen about his relationship with Camilla but faced resistance.

Over the years, Camilla’s public image improved, and Queen Elizabeth expressed her wish for Camilla to be known as Queen Consort when Charles becomes king. Reports suggest that Camilla may drop the “Consort” from her title before Charles’s coronation, making her the Queen. Despite past challenges, Camilla has become a popular and respected member of the Royal Family.
