D-Day veteran reunites with French Love 75 years later

During their reunion, the two got to think back on their early romance. One photo of Jeannie had been in K.T.’s possession for seventy-five years. As they looked at that photo, Jeannie commented with a laugh that no one dressed like her back then. In the 1940s, wearing shorts with crop tops was unusual, but these days it’s in style. Maybe it was her bravery and individuality that set her apart and won K.T.’s love for 75 years.

As one viewer noted, you never forget a real love that you meet once in a lifetime. Many more have noted how much this video brought them to tears. However, seeing their joyful reunion might inspire new faith in the transformational potential of love.

As they once again parted ways to return to their homes, it was clear that K.T. and Jeannine intended to hold onto their 75-year dream. Their love would always last, even though their real reunion was brief.
