Easy Trick Will Defrost Your Car Window in Seconds

Easy Trick Will Defrost Your Car Window in Seconds

One of the most annoying things about winter is waiting for your windshield to defrost. Scraping it can take a lot of time and effort.

Luckily, there’s a simple trick to defrost your car windows fast, saving you time and helping you get on the road quicker.

How to Defrost Car Windows Fast

  • Step 1: Fill a spray bottle with one-third water and two-thirds rubbing alcohol.
  • Step 2: Keep the spray bottle in your car so you can use it whenever you need to.

Why does this work?
Rubbing alcohol has a much lower freezing point than water (about -128°F), which helps melt the ice quickly and prevents future frost from forming.

Another option is to use kitty litter.
It might sound odd, but if you fill a sock with kitty litter and place it on your dashboard, it will absorb moisture and keep frost from building up on your windshield.
