Recalling the Magnificence of Uncomplicated Design

Also known as a step edger or half-moon edger, the manual edger is a T-shaped tool with a three-foot wooden handle. Because of its style, we are taken back in time to a time when doing yard labor on the weekends was just as common as having Sunday supper. A manual edger’s distinctive characteristic is its semi-circular, serrated blade, which is often made of iron or steel, two durable metals.

 

 

 

Doing a Precision Dancing

A committed gardener could experience the manual edger as a physical extension of themselves. It’s a rhythmic and meditative process. Once the half-moon blade is positioned against the lawn’s edge, step down firmly to cut through the grass, and then draw back to expose a neat line.
