Celine Dion’s Unpaid Performance at the Opening Ceremony

However, a spokesperson for the Paris 2024 Games later clarified that performers did not receive any fees. Instead, technical production costs and other performance-related expenses were covered, underscoring the performers’ commitment to being part of this historic event rather than performing for monetary gain.
