George Clooney on Politics and Hollywood

Clooney has no problem discussing his opinions about Donald Trump. He calls Trump an opportunist and calls him a “xenophobic fascist.” Clooney also believes that Americans are beginning to act morally, even though it may take some time.

 

Clooney is a strong advocate for embracing immigrants and insists that the US will not place limits on Muslim immigration. He brings to mind the Statue of Liberty, which symbolizes the United States of America as an open nation.

 

Speaking of his most recent film, Hail, Caesar!, Clooney talks about playing actor Baird Whitlock, one of Hollywood’s greatest actors. Despite what some may believe, he doesn’t think these individuals are stupid, despite the fact that the Coen brothers have repeatedly called him a “dope” or “idiot.”
