Stir in the garlic salt, salt, white sugar, and tomato sauce. Mix until well combined, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 20 minutes. Remove the skillet from heat and cover it.
- Cook the Noodles: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions until they are al dente. Drain the noodles and rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking process.
