Locklear’s personal struggles have often spilled into the public eye. Police have frequently been called to her residence. In 2018, she was arrested for domestic violence and assault against an officer. Locklear pleaded guilty, resulting in a sentence of 30 days of involuntary commitment to a mental health facility and 120 days of suspended imprisonment.
