His family made the sad announcement about Ozzy Osbourne

For the first time in five years, Black Sabbath’s frontman was scheduled to appear at Power Trip.

For a considerable amount of time, Ozzy Osbourne has put his music profession ahead of his health and wellbeing.

Following a devastating tragedy, the Black Sabbath singer underwent numerous operations and was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

He previously stated that he intended to carry on doing what he loves most, which is taking stage performances. On Monday, though, he gave fans who were expecting to catch him at the Power Trip Festival—a rock concert extravaganza put on by Coachella owners Goldenvoice—a tough update. Legendary rock groups like AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, and others are on the roster.

Despite the fact that the event was supposed to take place from October 6–8, Ozzy declared on Monday, July 10 that he had to make the “painful” decision to cancel.

He wrote on Instagram, “As painful as this is, I’ve had to make the decision to bow out of performing on Power Trip in October.”

He stated, “I took an optimistic step forward when this show was offered because I was hoping to go back on stage in the summer of 2024.”

He stated, “I took an optimistic step forward when this show was offered because I was hoping to go back on stage in the summer of 2024.”

He said, “I will see you soon, and I love you all.” Above all, I would want to thank my band, crew, and fans for their unwavering dedication and support.

“Everyone loves you, my buddy,” he wrote in the post’s comments, to which his dedicated followers quickly replied with prayers and consolation. “Sir, you’ve given me years of enjoyment; there’s no need to apologize. Observe self-care. Ozz, always remember to take care of yourself and prioritize your well-being. Another fan said, “Ozzy, get well and please don’t apologize.” As much time as it needs, give it.
