Some people love chocolate desserts (I mean, who doesn’t?). Some people prefer desserts hinted with caramel, mint, or peanut butter. And while these types of sweet treats are all delicious, my dessert of choice is generally anything that’s lemon-flavored. Lemon desserts are the perfect combination of sweet and tangy, and they also tend to be very light and fresh-tasting. So when I came across this recipe for Dreamy Lemon Cheesecake from Southern Living, I pretty much started drooling over my computer keys.

While making this cheesecake requires a few more steps than your average boxed cake mix would, I assure you that it’s well worth the extra effort. This cheesecake has a crust made from crushed cookies that have a lemon filling. So you can only imagine how good the crust alone tastes.
