When she was in elementary school, Victoria Principal went to 17 different schools, one of which was the famous Royal Ballet School in England.

She shared, “When I auditioned for Dallas, I was already a huge fan of the show and the character. From the first time I read the script, I knew it was something really special, and I desperately wanted to be involved. I just couldn’t picture myself not playing Pam.” It was like the role was meant for her.

Victoria used her deep understanding of the industry to strike a deal with CBS, making sure she kept control over her image and career. She said, “Looking back, I was the only one in the cast doing commercials, making movies for TV, and writing books, and all of that is mine. I kept control and ownership of my image. I learned a lot from playing Pam. She was someone with such innate goodness and who was courageous in fighting for what she believed in. After she left Dallas, Victoria had the chance to retire and live a nice life, but instead, she decided to put a lot of money into her skincare brand, Principal Secret, which she started in 1984.
