The Fast X star is now romantically involved with 32-year-old actress Adria Arjona.
Momoa’s romance comes after he hinted at being in love during a Comic Con event.
When a fan asked him whether he was single, the actor responded: “I’m very much in a relationship,” per a video of the event shared on X, formerly Twitter.
Momoa would then say fans would ‘find out very soon’, adding: “I’m very much in a relationship, I’ve been in a relationship for a while.
“I’m just really enjoying privacy ’cause back in the day no one gave a f*** and now everyone does, but I’m still the same guy. It’s been really nice because everyone has kind of [left me alone], but – yeah, thank you very much.”
Adria Arjona is an emerging star in Hollywood, known for her roles in films such as Morbius and the upcoming Netflix film Hit Man with Glen Powell.
Her breakthrough role came as Dorothy Gale in the TV series Emerald City, and she has since appeared in several high-profile projects.
Before her relationship with Momoa, Arjona was married to lawyer Edgardo Canales, whom she wed in 2019, per Hello! Magazine.
Momoa and Arjona reportedly met on the set of the film Sweet Girl in 2019.
Momoa shared photos from a trip to Japan on Instagram, which feature Arjona.
He captioned the post: “Japan, you are a dream come true, you blew my mind.
“We’re so thankful for everyone who opened their homes, making memories with new friends and old friends, sharing another amazing adventure with mi amor.
“ON THE ROAM motorcycles and mayhem. All my aloha.”
Momoa can be seen cuddling up to Arjona in one of the snapshots.
Although some fans have taken to the comments and congratulated the Baywatch star on finding happiness, others have been left creeped out by his new relationship.
People have noted that as well as the couple having a significant age gap, Arjona looks a little too familiar.
Some are going as far as to say his new girlfriend looks like his daughter, with one writing: “This new girl looks a lot like Lola.”
Another adds: “Looks like his daughter. A bit young for him I would say…”
Weighing in, a third person comments: “Does anyone else think his new girlfriend looks like a grown version of his daughter?”
“I thought it was Lola at first!” pens someone else.
