Living Nostradamus has terrifying warning for 2026 – here’s what he’s predicted

Brazilian mystic Athos Salomé—often referred to as the “Living Nostradamus”—has unveiled an extensive list of predictions he says will unfold in 2026.

For anyone who doesn’t know him, the 38-year-old influencer and self-proclaimed seer claims to have foreseen numerous major world events, such as Queen Elizabeth II’s passing and the Covid-19 outbreak.

He earned his moniker due to frequent comparisons with the renowned French astrologer Nostradamus, who recorded his prophecies in poetic verses.

Here is a clear, natural paraphrase:

More recently, Salomé delivered alarming messages about a “significant event” that he believes will affect the British Royal Family before the year ends, along with predictions about what lies ahead for people using weight-loss medications.

Now, the self-styled prophet has revealed a long list of broader global forecasts, touching on military strategies, an unidentified object in space, and potential “fires and power outages.”

Settle in — there’s plenty to take in.

Here is his yearly collection of warnings:

The Arctic is no longer ‘forgotten’

Salomé begins his forecast with a focus on Russia and the Arctic.

Despite its ongoing military operations in Ukraine, Moscow is reportedly expanding its Arctic presence.

The seer cautions that ‘the relocation of missile systems to strategic Arctic positions could heighten the chances of direct clashes with NATO’ as the ice recedes in 2026, a period when newly accessible shipping lanes and energy reserves may reshape global power balances.

The Sahel as the next epicentre of instability

The Sahel region of Africa is predicted to become a center of instability.

With extremist factions gaining strength in northern Niger, Salomé foresees ‘indirect confrontations between nations trying to assert influence after Western forces withdraw.’

Analysts warn that this turbulence could have far-reaching consequences for international security.

BRICS+ and the weight of the dollar

Salomé noted: “In 2026 I anticipate a more decisive BRICS+ bloc. A leak of diplomatic information suggests that Saudi Arabia is proposing a restructuring of the group’s guidelines, seeking to conduct transactions outside the dollar – a move that could significantly impact emerging markets.”

BRICS initially referred to Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, but the coalition has since expanded to include additional nations.

According to its official website, the group aims to deepen economic, political, and social cooperation among its members while boosting the influence of Global South countries in global decision-making.

Iran and Israel heading toward conflict

Earlier this year, tensions escalated into the Iran–Israel conflict, which lasted from 13 to 24 June and became known as the Twelve-Day War.

The mystic suggests another turbulent phase may lie ahead.

He said: “With Iran progressing in its uranium enrichment process and Israel preparing for possible military intervention, I warn that the Middle East region could experience a new period of tension in the second quarter of 2026.”

This follows recent reports that Israel is developing new technologies for a possible future confrontation with Iran, according to Defense Ministry Director-General Amir Baram, as reported by the Jerusalem Post.

Great leaders in a decisive year – Putin prepares the ground

According to Salomé, 2026 could be a defining year for global conflict, with Russian President Vladimir Putin playing a major role.

“A decree that has not yet been formally enacted could enable Russia to call up approximately 800,000 reservists by March 2026,” the psychic said. “This goes beyond simple military administrative procedures and represents the basis for a more assertive approach to cybersecurity and air defence.”

The US reinforces the Red Sea

His fifth prediction focuses on the United States and the increasingly tense situation around the Red Sea.

Salomé explains: “Because Iranian-backed militias have stepped up their activities, the US has already moved drones and naval assets to the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. In 2026, this maritime route will once again become a central point of global geopolitical attention.”

Economic turbulence in 2026 — Poland on shaky ground

When it comes to finance, Salomé warns that Poland could face the greatest threat of economic instability next year.

“Poland will be at significant risk of a financial crisis in 2026,” he said. “Private discussions with the IMF, a large deficit, and the potential for future strikes all add to the uncertainty.”

Japan facing the threat of a chip shortage

Japan may also run into trouble next year.
