Man who scaled mountain for first sunrise of 2024 captures photo of figure in the clouds

A man’s image is slowly becoming more well-known online after he captured an unusual event while climbing a mountain to greet the new year.

To celebrate January 1, hiker Rhys Pleming made the decision to climb Snowdon, the highest peak in both England and Wales.

He had gone out with his partner to capture the first dawn of the decade on camera, but he had no idea what they would see.
