Meet former NFL player Myron Rolle, who became a neurosurgeon at 33

Myron Rolle, a former NFL athlete, has always placed a high importance on education and ambition. After an outstanding career as a professional football player, Myron made the bold decision to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a neurosurgeon. At age 33, he gave up his cleats for a stethoscope to go on the challenging career path of medicine.

His journey was not an easy one. Juggling the rigorous requirements of medical school with his previous commitments required a tremendous deal of endurance and dedication. Myron was driven forward by his belief in the importance of healthcare and his dedication to helping others.
