Melissa Sue Anderson recently turned 61 – hold your heart before you see her now

How frequently do you remember a show you enjoyed in the past and wonder about the performers’ lives years after the show has ended? Many of you who were enthralled with “Little House on the Prairie” and eagerly followed the family’s every move on their farm in Plum Creek, Minnesota, close to Walnut Grove, probably want to know what the performers are doing now.

Admirers of the magnificent Mary Ingalls’ actress Melissa Sue Anderson had other ideas than to become a television personality.
She talks about how she wants to leave Hollywood in the present day and relocate to Canada.
Anderson made the decision to leave the entertainment industry in 2007 once the family was granted Canadian citizenship. She wanted to spend more time with her children and not feel compelled to pursue a career in the performing arts.

The gorgeous Melissa Sue Anderson, who portrayed Mary Ingalls, was said to be headed toward a TV role, but Anderson had other ideas.
