Mom of rare twins with Down syndrome shows how beautiful they are in spite of critics

“I saw each prenatal visit they had while still alive as a blessing,” Savannah remarked.

Her husband had gone to boot camp after she found out that she and he had Down syndrome.

When Savannah was admitted to the hospital, she was 29 weeks pregnant and gave birth to twins. Kennadi Rue and Mckenli Ackerman, identical twin daughters, were born on May 12, 2021.

The twins had to stay in the NICU for several weeks before being permitted to go home because they were born two months early.

The mom said, “They are called mono di twins because they shared the same placenta, which is why they were going to be identical.”

Currently, mo di twins are relatively rare. The probabilities increase to roughly one in two million when Down syndrome is included.

Savannah claims that even though they have an uncommon condition, they are just like any other youngster.

They have feelings. Their hearts are racing. They can communicate well. They are proficient at the tasks you carry out. She promised they will arrive.

They might be a step behind, but they will succeed, as I have said. I’ve discovered that these children are happy, independent little creatures.

Savannah keeps posting incredible updates on TikTok as each kid accomplishes a new milestone.

“I’m going to tell them that they can accomplish just as much as we can if they work hard and are determined enough.”

However, some people are unable to refrain from criticizing Savannah and her family. The young mother was forced to respond to some rather rude people on social media as a result.

“I wouldn’t want those babies; if mine came out like that, they would be straight up for adoption,” a reader commented to the mother.

Savannah, however, had the ideal response, which she posted on Facebook.

I said, “It’s a good thing they were born to me and not to you. God knew precisely what he was doing when he sent these babies to the right parents, who would love them no matter what.

lovely ladies. Those who assert the opposite are merely being rude. These people are the world’s most wonderful and giving! Please share this touching tale with others on Facebook.
