Pastor who has ‘been to hell’ says he saw demons singing Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’

In a viral TikTok video that has taken the internet by storm, Pastor Gerald Johnson shared his chilling experience of allegedly visiting hell after suffering a heart attack. His story, which has sparked intense online discussions, revolves around the bizarre and terrifying visions he encountered during his short-lived visit to the underworld. Among these disturbing scenes, Johnson claims he witnessed demons performing twisted renditions of popular songs, including Rihanna’s chart-topping hit “Umbrella.”

Johnson’s recount of his “visit” to hell has raised eyebrows and stirred debate across social media, with millions tuning in to hear his unnerving tale. Here’s a closer look at his experience and the surprising messages that have followed.

A Near-Death Experience: From Heart Attack to Hell

In 2016, Gerald Johnson, a pastor from Texas, suffered a massive heart attack. According to his account, what happened next was beyond anything he could have imagined. As his heart failed, Johnson claimed that his spirit left his physical body and descended straight into hell.

This revelation came as a shock not only to Johnson but to his followers, as he had devoted his life to spreading good in the world. He stated that, despite his positive deeds and helping others, he found himself in a place no one would ever want to be. In his own words, he was “blown away” by the destination of his soul.

During a five-minute TikTok video that quickly went viral, Johnson detailed the horrors he witnessed in hell, describing it as a place of unimaginable suffering. “I wouldn’t wish it on any other man,” he explained, while recounting the grim scenes he encountered. One of the most jarring moments? Witnessing demons sing pop music.

Demons Singing Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’

One of the most surreal elements of Johnson’s experience was the presence of music in hell. According to the pastor, he heard songs that were familiar to him, but instead of being performed by the original artists, demons were the ones singing.

“There was a section in Hell where music was playing. It was the same music we hear on Earth, but opposed to entertainers singing it, demons were singing it,” Johnson recalled. Among the songs he recognized was “Umbrella” by pop star Rihanna.

In a dark twist, Johnson explained that these once beloved songs were being used in hell to torment the souls who were trapped there. He described how the lyrics, which might offer comfort or joy on Earth, took on a sinister role in the afterlife. Songs like Bobby McFerrin’s “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” and Rihanna’s “Umbrella” were, in his words, being used as tools of torment.
