Phoebe Cates is still stunning

Phoebe Cates was a character in the films Gremlins and Drop Dead Fred. She is best known, however, for the scene in Fast Times at Ridgemont High where she appeared topless. Cates quit her job in Hollywood over 20 years ago to follow her passion. She currently has a 9-to-5 job in this field.

Born in New York City on July 16, 1963, Phoebe Belle Cates. She was talented and passionate about ballet and studied dance at the Julliard school when she was a young child.

It was clear from a young age that Phoebe Cates would succeed. The acting was in her blood because her father, Joe Cates, was a producer and director and her uncle served as the president of the Director’s Guild. Even her brother and sister, who both performed on stage, had worked in the business before.

Phoebe’s passion for dancing was snuffed out when she had to stop dancing due to a knee injury. Despite her initial disappointment, Phoebe has since discovered alternative ways of artistic expression.

Instead, Phoebe began modeling at age 14 and enjoyed some success. She appeared on the cover of Seventeen four times. However, she decided that the position didn’t interest her, so she began enlarging her horizons. It was the same thing, over and over, Phoebe reflected on her brief modeling career. “After a while, I only did it for the money. “.
