Scored Potatoes Recipe

Today, I want to share with you my absolute favorite recipe for scored potatoes. These little gems offer a delightful twist to the usual plain spuds. Believe me, once you try them, you’ll wonder why you haven’t been making them this way all along!

To start off, gather the ingredients. You’ll need four large baking potatoes, two tablespoons of melted butter (which we’ll divide later), a pinch of paprika, one tablespoon of minced fresh parsley, and some salt and pepper to taste.

Now, let’s get cooking! I always enjoy this part because it’s super easy, and the results are fantastic. Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) to get it nice and toasty for our potatoes.

Grab your sharp knife, and with a big smile on your face, cut the potatoes in half lengthwise. This will give you eight beautiful potato halves to work with. Now, here comes the fun part: slicing each half widthwise about six times, but don’t go all the way through. We want to fan them out slightly, just like a beautiful potato bouquet!
