Sheehan’s talent extended beyond “General Hospital” and he later joined the cast of “Knots Landing”. In the role of Ben Gibson, a journalist, Sheehan’s character became romantically involved with one of the central characters, Valene Ewing. Their relationship became one of the most beloved storylines in the series, captivating viewers with their on-screen chemistry. Sheehan portrayed Ben Gibson until 1987, solidifying his place in the hearts of fans.

Continuing Success

Even after his iconic roles, Sheehan continued to share his talent in various television projects. In 1988, he starred in the NBC sitcom “Day by Day”, portraying Brian Harper, a former stockbroker who opens a daycare center with his wife. Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, Sheehan made guest appearances on popular shows such as “Murder, She Wrote”, “Clueless”, and “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch”.
