A padlock is a common object with a very important use. They are used by people for gates, toolboxes, bicycle storage, and outdoor sheds.
They are made to resist cuts and other attempts to harm them from the environment. They do, however, contain a hidden feature—a little hole on the bottom—that has a very important function.
Serving an Important Function
Padlocks are small but powerful metal tools used to prevent theft. However, they are vulnerable to rust and damage caused by weather extremes and water. Fortunately, padlocks have a secret hole on the bottom that allows water to escape, preventing rust and extending their lifespan.
