Williams, best known for playing Lenny Ross in the popular criminal thriller, is close friends with Tom Selleck, who plays Frank Reagan, the commissioner of New York City police.

Tom Selleck acknowledged the fleeting nature of life while expressing his deep sorrow over Williams’ loss. “People say we are all just passing the time and spending a lot of time sitting in our chairs,” remarked Selleck. He went on, “My friend Treat had a great name and was positioned in his chair nicely.” I shall always remember him even though I will miss him.
