Tom Selleck and Bridget Moynahan said of Treat Williams’ death, “We lost a good one.”

The CBS Blue Bloods cast is very saddened by the sudden and tragic loss of Treat Williams, who died in a motorcycle accident. Williams, best known for playing Lenny Ross in the popular criminal thriller, is close friends with Tom Selleck, who plays Frank Reagan, the commissioner of New York City police.

A Friend’s Contemplation

Tom Selleck acknowledged the fleeting nature of life while expressing his deep sorrow over Williams’ loss. “People say we are all just passing the time and spending a lot of time sitting in our chairs,” remarked Selleck. He went on, “My friend Treat had a great name and was positioned in his chair nicely.” I shall always remember him even though I will miss him.

Recognizing an Expert Actor

Bridget Moynahan, Erin Reagan’s mother on film, referred to Williams as a “actor’s actor” and a “complete pleasure” to work with. “Folks, we lost a good one,” she said, expressing her appreciation for his commitment to his family.
