Whoopi Goldberg reveals the truth about her sexuality – and everyone is saying the same thing

It might all be fuelled by her various marriages to gentlemen, all of which ended and led her to make some statements. Goldberg has been married 3 moments. She married her drug counselor Alvin Martin, when she was 18 many years outdated, in 1973. They had a daughter alongside one another named Alexandrea in the exact year. The few divorced a number of yrs later in 1979. She then went on to marry David Claessen from 1986 to 1988, and ultimately, Lyle Trachtenberg from 1994 to 1995.

After her 3rd divorce, the actress has been vocal about her thoughts toward marriage and even went as far as to phone herself ‘relationship-averse’ at a single point.

“People anticipate you to have a boyfriend. They be expecting you to get married,” she said in an interview at a person level. “So I held making an attempt to do that, but I didn’t want to share details with any person else. I didn’t want anybody asking me why I was executing what I was undertaking, or to have to make the other man or woman sense superior.”

“But if you are in a romance, you have to do people matters, and it took me a when to figure out that I didn’t want to,” she went on. “I’d be imagining, ‘Why don’t I come to feel the detail that I’m supposed to?’ Then one day I believed: ‘I do not have to do this. I do not have to conform…’  You cannot be in a relationship because everybody’s expecting you to.”

Symoné then went on to chat about Goldberg’s ‘duality’ in how she is the two masculine and feminine. She said, “there is some thing attractive about a lady staying equipped to embrace their masculine and feminine at the very same time and have on it so effectively, like you do.”
