Willie Nelson, 91, continues to cancel tour dates citing unknown illness

Willie Nelson has canceled another tour date, and a comeback date is not in the cards.

Just hours before Nelson was scheduled to perform in Virginia Beach on Wednesday, the 91-year-old musician informed his fans via social media that he would not be traveling as scheduled.

It had only been a few days since Nelson canceled the Georgia leg of his tour because he was “not feeling well.”

The first bit of bad news came on June 21, when Nelson’s opening gig of the Outlaw Music Festival Tour had to be postponed.

“We regret to inform you that Willie Nelson is not feeling well and has been advised to rest for the next four days per doctor’s orders,” a social media post stated. “After a quick recovery, he is expected to resume his Outlaw Music Festival tour next week.”

 

Less than a week later, Nelson did, however, announce yet another cancellation.
