Willie Nelson, 91, continues to cancel tour dates citing unknown illness

“Willie Nelson is not scheduled to play at tonight’s Virginia Beach event. We hope to see Willie back on the road shortly.

Despite Nelson’s incapacity to perform, Bob Dylan, Robert Plant, Alison Krauss, and Celisse were all scheduled to appear. Lukas Nelson, the late great’s son, was also supposed to play a solo set in addition to some of his greatest hits.

As of June 27, Nelson’s website still displays June 28 in Syracuse, New York as the date of his upcoming tour; however, because of his uncertain return date, it is unclear if Nelson will be able to make it.

Whatever it is keeping Willie Nelson from performing, we hope he recovers shortly.
